Grant Funding
We have access to schemes across the UK which can provide grants for Insulation and Heating Upgrades. We will detail these schemes below to see how you can qualify.
All of these schemes are overseen by OFGEM and funding is supplied by the Energy Companies under ECO (Energy Company Obligation) Scheme.
Affordable Warmth (HHCRO)
HHCRO - Home Heating Cost Reduction Obligation
Households containing at least 1 member receiving any means tested benefits qualify for the scheme, however the property must also fit Criteria on Energy Performance.
Means Tested Benefits are:
- Universal Credit
- Child Tax Credit
- Working Tax Credit
- Income Support
- Pension Guarantee Credit
- Income Related Employment and Support Allowance - ESA
- Income Based Job Seekers Allowance - JSA
* Child Benefit but this is dependent upon number of Children and Household Income
Flexible Eligability
ECOFLEX
This is part of HHCRO but allows further eligability for the grant with Criteria Set by the Local Authority (Council)
Energy Performance must be D or below to qualify
Household Income must be less than £31000 a year to qualify.
Unless you live in an area which has been designated as low income or vulnerable by the Local Authority.
There are also other referral routes i.e. Medical but Energy Performance must be E or below
