* For Free Install you must be on a qualifying benefit and qualify for the £10,000 Green Homes Grant, and is subject to survey, if a contribution is required this will be provided in writing. There is no obligation to proceed and under RECC guidelines pressure selling id NOT ALLOWED.
* For subsidised installs this requires you to claim the voucher of up to £5000 from the Green Homes Grant.
* Renewable Heat Incentive is available for most properties (except new build) as long as Loft/Cavity Wall insulaion is up to required levels for Renewable Heating Sources i.e Air Source Heat Pump / Ground Source Heat Pump. If you claim the Green Homes Grant this money will be deducted from the total RHI Payment i.e. if RHI was £11,000 and you claimed £5,000 Grant the RHI payment would be reduced to £6,000.

£10,000 Green Homes Grant
To qualify for the £10,000 Grant you must be designated as low income which means in receipt of one or more of the following:-
- Job Seekers Allowance
- Child Tax Credit
- Working Tax Credit
- Universal Credit
- Carers Allowance
- Disability Living Allowance
- Attendance Allowance
- Employment and Support Allowance
- Income Support
- Pension Guarantee Credit
- Severe Disablement Allowance
- Industrial Injuries Disablement Benefit
£5000 Green Homes Grant
£5000 per household up to two thirds of install cost i.e Install of £7500 total would qualify for the £5000 grant meaning only £2500 to pay.
- Primary Measures must be installed to qualify for a grant these are insulation or renewable heating measures.
- The amount of the Primary Measures Grant can be matched on a secondary measure up to the maximum grant. A contribution will be required for both!
